I have cold feet. Always. It's not a psychological issue, it's a physical one. They really are cold, all the time, or at least most of the time. Adam claims it's a female thing. We have the coldest feet, and our butts are the coldest substances in the world. If we could harness the energy of our coldness, we could power....
Nothing. Because power doesn't come from cold. It sucks it away!
Under normal circumstances, I utilize blankets, wool socks, slippers and hot water bottles. Oh and warm dogs. She's real nice on my feet at night.
But this year, oh this year, Adam amped it up. Really, amped it up.
This year, Adam gave me a pair of battery operated socks for Christmas. They're dreamy. My toes don't ever have to be cold.
Nordic Gear Lectra Battery Socks are Available online from The Working Person's Store
And while it is a bit weird to walk around with D sized batteries on the side of my legs, it is SOOOOOO worth it! (particularly today, when our furnace is waiting to be fixed!) (Emily)
